Leigh Goes Back to ANZCO FoodsLeigh returned to beautiful NZ to work with the ANZCO team following up on the Innovation workshop of earlier this year. The team has done a fantastic job with the nine Innovation Projects they worked on. Extra sales, new products, new efficiencies and more satisfied teams were the results.. The added bonus... Leigh got to surf in the beautiful Mount Taranaki area... Surf Highway 45.. Will be back there again soon hopefully. (thanks to Beach Street Surf Shop for the board hire..)

Professor Mark Moorehouse closed the meeting with a powerful '10 R's to Outrageous Success in Subway' then MC'ed the Awards Dinner.. MORE... MORE... MORE... was the chant of the day.. Now for the WA meeting next week..
Leigh fires up GFR in PerthLeigh worked with fast growing WA company GFR to take teamwork and innovation to the next level at Ascot Racecourse recently. Managing Director Rin Rutherford was over the moon with the impact on positive ideas and suggestions for even more improvement at GFR made by the team. Professor Mark Moorehouse also made another power appearance in a "unforgettable" opening and closing session.
Leigh and John helps Mal Emery Platiunum Members Sell MoreLeigh and John recently spoke to over 200 of Mal Emery's Platinum and Centurion Members at the Melbourne Closed Door Mastermind session. The key message was "if you want to sell more you better get better at selling." Leigh and John outlined some of Blue Rocket's Science of Selling Skills to the group. Many experienced business people came up after the session with the messsage.... "You're absolutely right... even though I have been in business for years.. I need to get better at face to face selling... And I need to get better at teaching my team how to get better at face to face selling.." Some great insights and motivation for even the most experienced business person.
Leigh helps ANZCO FOODS Innovate in ChristchurchLeigh just worked with ANZCO FOODS in Christchurch at the Copthorne Hotel. Managers and team leaders flew in from all around New Zealand for the 2 day Innovation Workshop. Feedback was brilliant with all teams going back with Innovation Projects that will add huge sums (the amount is commercial in confidence of course) to the bottom line. Thanks to Rob Archibald and Heather Burton for making it happen. Also thanks to Rob for organising Leigh's surfing expedition to Sumners (thank goodness for the wetsuit) Surfing in June keeps you on your toes in NZ..then the great day touring just some of the beautiful sights of Christchurch. We hope to come back again and work with you guys.. and hear the success stories of the Innovation projects... plus get more of the team leaders involved in the Innovation Culture Process.
Blue Rocket Causes Sales Blast Off at DivaJohn and Leigh have created a wave of sales boosting across the Diva network. Leigh has run Retail Sales Blast Off workshops in Sydney and Auckland.. and already the teams are raving about the impact on sales and motivation. Leigh Creates Storm at McDonald's Owner Operator Conference LaunchLeigh travelled to Sydney to launch the McDonalds Owner Operator Conference to be held in Perth, March 2007. One minute he was on the big TV screen on his pushbike in Kings Park, Western Australia, the next, he was riding down the isle of the Concert Hall in Sydney..to a huge applause.. Organisers are expecting a record attendance at Burswood Entertainment Precinct in March.
Leigh Creates Breakthrough in Bangladesh for AkTelLeigh went to Bangladesh to work with Chief Operating Officer Vijay Watson once more to facilitate more Breakthrough's for mobile phone carrier Aktel. Aktel are presently number two in the market but with the series of Leaderhip and Breakthrough programmes run last week, Number One is now not too far away... Stand Up for the Champions. Leigh is back in Bangladesh in November to conduct part two of the Breakthrough Programme.
Leigh Gets Bartercard FiringLeigh is getting great results with the Sales Teams at Perth North and Perth South Bartercard. The customised for Bartercard Sales Breakthrough Programme is based on the results of the recent Perception Map diagnosis. Perth North recently had a record month and all teams are now even more motivated, focussed and skilled to reach and exceed sales and trading targets. One sales athlete recently remarked, 'I have been going to sales seminars for over 20 years and this was by far the best... simply put and powerfully motivating..' Blue Rocket Blasts Off in the USALeigh and John hit the USA last month to work with the powerhouse team at Electric Visual in San Clemente, California. Moorehouse opened and closed the conference to rave reviews and the whirring of video cameras and flash photography.. but the real power came when we developed a rock solid plan to continue to grow the company by 100% this year.. MOOREHOUSE GIVES THEM MORE AT NORTH SYDNEY INSTITUTE OF TAFEProfessor Mark Moorehouse wrapped up the years Performance Development Initiative at NSI with a motivational session reminding the managers about their Mission Critical KPI's. Institute Director Kevin Harris was so impressed he even donned Moorehouse's wig to build on Moorehoue's theme of 'thinking way outside the box..' He was so impressed he said he wanted all 1200 staff to hear Moorehouse in 2004.

Tenet Insurance Innovation Day - Singapore July 2003Tenet Insurance Managing Director Stella Tan and her management team developed some brilliant ideas and strategies at the Phoenix Hotel in early July. They plan to add approximately $2 million to company profitability from the ideas generated at the one day Innovation Workshop held in conjunction with our Singapore partners, Trend Consulting.. The two day programme proved to be a huge hit with many participants saying it was the 'best training they had been to in their twenty year careers.' Assa Abloy is now looking to conduct the programme for their Sales Teams throughout Asia.
ROTARY DISTRICT CONFERENCE - March 2003Professor Mark Moorehouse opened the Saturday morning session at Notre Dame University with delegates chanting MORE, MORE, MORE.. District Governor David Barton was overwhelmed with 'the Seeds of Love' that were generated in this short, sharp but powerful opening session. Next day Leigh then facilitated a powerful learning experience in the form of a hypothetical on the topic 'To Join or Not To Join - that is the Question..' Perth Rotarians will remember that conference for years to come..

Franchisor Conference 2003Jim's Franchisors experienced Professor Mark Moorehouse running a Business Development session focussing on Coaching and Supporting franchisees at the Vines in March. There was plenty of positive energy generated and as one delegate said 'it was a fun, stimulating way to give me a bloody good kick in the backside....'
CITY OF STIRLING EXEC TEAM DEVELOPMENT - February 2003Chief Executive, Lindsay Delahunty had worked with Grant and I before when he was CEO at City of Joondalup, and he wanted to develop strategy and exec teamwork to take City of Stirling to a NEW level of customer service, teamwork and performance. Relationship Sales and Marketing were the key topics practiced with brilliant ideas and strategies being developed in all core industry segments to continue to increase sales over the next 90 days. Many segments are up to 20% ahead of budget - so all are happy with the results.
ART GALLERY OF WA PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INNOVATION DAY - November 2002A fantastic 2 days was held with Cathy Roads and her team of 25 project team members and leaders at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Project Teams learnt new ways to bring projects in on time and on budget (as well as with less stress). Countdown was again used as the key tool to increase the level of Project Management Literacy in the teams. Cathy says her team is still buzzing with enthusiasm and ideas on how to make projects more fun and successful in the future.

LOCKWOOD SECURITY PRODUCTS SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTThe past month has seen Leigh conducting Module Two of the Lockwood Sales and Business programme in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Teams practiced a range of key Sales and Business Development skills including Time Management, Generating More Face to Face Selling Time, How to educate clients as to the value of the products, handling objections and client problems and action plans to increase revenue and value to clients. Bob Walsh, Sales Manager for WA was very complimentary saying it was the best training he had ever been involved with in his more than 25 years in the industry.

On Friday September 6th Leigh conducted a Discovery Day Retreat for leading Perth Tax Lawyers Norton and Smailes.

Senior Partner Richard Norton remarked how the day had exceeded his expectations in learning, challenging and helping the team learn from each other. Content included: personal development, marketing, client service, client problem solving, communications, systems improvement and generating new strategies to maintain the practice at the leading edge.
VET Managers of the Future at Sydney Institute of TAFE NSW - August 29th - 30thLeigh and Grant conducted another successful Day 1 and Day 2 of the now famous 5 day VET Managers of the Future program.
Participants left re-energised and focused with another 15 brilliant innovation projects to impact culture, customer service, teamwork and leadership of change in the Institute.
Breakthrough Moving Forward Day with Lockwood Securities - August 28thIn association with Dr. Grant Donovan, Leigh facilitated a brilliant day of developing breakthrough strategies with the senior managers and executives of Lockwood Securities.
